Our sailing on the Sapphire Princess
Caitlin and I cruised on the Sapphire Princess to the Mexican Riviera for our honeymoon a few years ago as a result of the time that has passed, this post will be more of a general overview than an in-depth review. This was our first introduction to the Princess Cruise line and it was an incredible experience for us! We sailed in a balcony stateroom that was well equipped and beautifully decorated. We dined in the main dining room as well as the Horizon Court buffet and enjoyed every bite!
As a photographer, I enjoyed walking around the ship and capturing the details of the ship. At the time we also didn't have kids so I had time to explore and quietly find photogenic areas of the Sapphire! The Sapphire is a beautiful ship with tasteful decor, wonderful public areas, and top-notch entertainment. Though the typical Princess customer is 50 and well traveled, we fit right in with our desire to eat well, relax and travel to exotic destinations.
To sum up, our cruise checked all of the boxes for us as young travelers and we look forward to sailing again on Princess.
